"A" es el antagonista principal de la serie. "A" es un personaje anónimo que envía mensajes amenazantes a Alison DiLaurentis, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, y recientemente, Mona Vanderwaal.

Mona, usando el apodo de "A", comenzó el acoso Alison a través de textos y otros mensajes escritos, a la vez que la acechaba.
